Multi-sided cylinder assembly machines automatically insert all bottom pins, master pins, top pins, and springs into a lock cylinder insert with more than one row of pins. After testing for proper parts load, the assembled components are generally secured by pushing the insert into a sleeve or housing. Pinning information is obtained from a file. An operator manually loads the inserts or a magazine automatically feeds the inserts. Assembled cylinders are automatically unloaded into a chute.
