Wafer (tumbler) assembly machines load springs and wafers (tumblers) into plugs (barrels). An operator manually loads the plug (barrel) and cut key into the respective nests. Vertical magazines automatically supply the wafers (tumblers) and a beehive type spring feeder automatically feeds the springs via plastic tubing. LVTD probes read the key cuts to determine the correct combination or a file provides the code information.  An operator manually removes the assembly.
