Vertical bar feeders hold a number of 3-meter long extruded bars and sequentially move one bar at a time into the load station of the forming machine described next.  When one bar is totally used up, the next bar is moved into position and fed into the forming machine.

PF1023 (padlock body forming)
Padlock body forming machines cut the correct length from the automatically fed extruded bar stock and load the blank into the first station. The padlock body blank is sanded on both sides, chamfered both top and bottom, coined with the desired logo on both sides. The shackle retainer pin hole is then drilled.  When the blank is completed, it is automatically transferred via a conveyer to the adjacent padlock body drilling machine (DNC500).
