Shackle forming machines create a finished padlock shackle from screw machine blanks. A magazine feeds the straight blanks, a servo controlled tool bends the blank, broach tools fabricate the notches on both sides of the shackle as well as the flat. After machining, shaving tools remove the burrs and the finished shackle is unloaded to a chute.
