Keyway milling machines automatically mill keyways into key blanks. A magazine stacker or a vibratory feeder bowl with hopper feeds the key blanks. Using wet machining, key blanks pass between two sets of cutters, milling both sides simultaneously. At the end of each cycle, the finished keys are unloaded onto a chute. Tooling can be exchanged to accommodate a variety of key shapes and profiles.
